Division Specific - Dress Code
Hey, I'm really interested in knowing what the typcial dress code for an analyst is within diffrerent divisions at BB's. Mainly interested in these divisions: IB, Capital Markets, S&T. Thanks in advance

Used to be in DCM, sitting on the trading floor, behind a Chinese wall, we were the ONLY group on the trading floor wearing ties because MDs/Head wanted us to. At my BB, nobody in S&T wearing ties. I think S&T is a lot more casual in general, and people tend to talk shit on IBankers a lot
Oh ok. So DCM has to wear ties in general? I'm going to be a SA in DCM next year and I'm curious

Can't make generalities, every team is different. Just wear a tie on the first day/first week and then decide based on how other dress.
