Female work attire, advice and recommendations (UK)

Hi, I am currently a student (pre uni) and have a work experience day with a bank in a couple of weeks, the dress code is stated to be "smart" and whilst I have an idea of what this entails, I would appreciate any advice on what to wear/not to wear, and any recommendations on where I should look for "outfit inspo" as it were, (I know I shouldn't be worrying about this too much, but I do want to make sure I don't stick out like a sore thumb). Since I am also applying for work experience weeks in the summer I am also looking for recommendations for places to buy some more long term pieces from. Thanks in advance!
