What is - “Cocktail Attire with a Holiday Flare”

This is my first year as an Analyst and our firm is having a very large global holiday party to celebrate accomplishments we made this year. The venue is on Cipriani Wall Street and as an Analyst I’ve never been to a Holiday party. I don’t want to stand out and look like an idiot as an Analyst. It’s a holiday party as excuse to celebrate and the culture and firm is very fun and exciting, but I don’t want to be confused with the theme.

I’ve done some googling and see based on the venue we’re having it at I should treat it as about 80% of the way to black tie and express the “holiday flare” through my accessories like a green tie or a red pocket square or santa socks? Any advice for how to look cool and like all the other experienced professionals who are attending but not out of place?
