LevFin and DCM sit within the Investment Banking division. You don’t apply for a specific group, you apply for a division. Heads up, you’ll probably get M&A questions regardless. Even if you end up at DCM during the group selection process, you’ll still have interaction with M&A transactions so knowledge thereof is expected. Interviewers barely, if ever, ask super detailed questions about merger models or LBOs. Generally knowing basic M&A accounting and accretion/dilution math is expected for this role.

Also, apply financing, thats the capital markets division of GS that includes DCM and LevFin
