How much better is a Hickey Freemen suit as opposed to a Hickey suit?

Title pretty much says it all. I came across some websites that offer both brands at prices substantially lower than retail and was wondering if there a huge gap in the quality of the suits because the prices are really different.

The website has retail prices for Hickey Freemen at about $1500 and Hickey at $900.

It's like the difference between a BB standard and 1818 suit. Hickey / Hickey Freeman are both a small step above the comparable BB suits. I'd check http://askandyaboutclothes.com/ if you want to know more about canvassing, fabric, etc.

Note: I would personally never go more than a few hundred on a suit. At that level, you can just get a decent MTM suit by someplace like SuitSupply. That said, I don't even do that. My suits have mostly come off Ebay for $100.
