Long hair in high finance

For pretty much my whole life I've struggled to find a hairstyle that looks good on me - I've tried everything from bowl cuts to undercuts to fades to long hair, but with my pin straight hair it's been extremely difficult. I've been wearing just a simple long hairstyle that does me well in the real world but does not seem to be professional - hasn't been a problem with me before because of the virtual environment but I quite like my long hair and don't want to get rid of it necessarily. Don't want to screw myself over with the ladies but wouldn't want it to be a problem at work. Has anyone here gotten away with it or should I just cut it off and accept looking bad at the risk of appearing professional?
