Need full new wardrobe - got too fat during lockdown

Starting a new job and need to pick up basically all new clothes. Dress code is business casual. I'm at associate level at a real estate firm.

Background: I 'tacked on serious mass' / got too fat for all of my old clothes during covid. I literally have no dress clothes to wear and basically have to buy a wardrobe from scratch. I was like malnourished skinny before so I'm still a slim fit but have to go up a size of 2 on everything new I have bought.

I'm thinking about getting:

Pants:

- Lulu Commission + Everlane Chinos since both fit me well

- Charles Tyrwitt slacks

Shirts:

- A few button downs from Charles Tywhitt, a few from Lulu

Shoes:

- Need recommendations

Suits:

- Will pick up a grey suit from suit supply. I figure at my level a good fit is more important than brand.

Am I being too cheap here? I'm not really a fashion person but want to dress well and make a good impression on the new gig.

Looks pretty good. I wouldn't stock up a ton on stuff if you plan to lose weight. I'd probably get one navy suit over the grey if you are just going to go with one. One should be enough (I feel like most offices are more casual now). You can always buy the grey later if you need.

I'd get one pair of darker brown real dress shoes from Allen Edmonds or a comparable brand. AE Factory Seconds would be fine. Then I would see what others wear in your office and if they are more casual buy something like a hybrid dress shoe or whatever other people wear.

Then just get several dress shirts/pants for every day assuming your dress code is business casual. CT is solid for shirts. Most of mine are from them. Lots of people wear the Lulu pants although I haven't tried them.
