I was wondering if most MDs are decked out in the nicest wardrobe, but my meetings with some of them don't point to that.

Its crazy that some of the most successful people I have met on Wall St and in finance type jobs don't care how they dress.

True, but maybe I'm biased because I have prior experience in the menswear/clothing industry.

Square-toes (yes, I've seen an MD wear them) make me cringe.

you probably work at a no-name shit shop with NO deal flow. MD, pssh, "yeah, right" ....

I agree. I'd rather spend the same amount of money on something custom than on buying a high-end off the rack item.
