Hey, Looking for a backpack that looks good with a shirt, suits, good to travel with, etc.

Looking for something not that big (laptop, food tupper, docs). I currently have one from Rains, but dont like it that much.

If you are ok with colors that aren't simply black - there are often sales where you can get 25% or more off on Tumi - Hautelook used to do a big annual sale, not sure where else does it or if that's around. I've found that their quality has held up even as prices continue to climb - unlike many brands.

Otherwise - I have heard good things about Nomatic. A good buddy of mine had one, looked nice and seemed very functional. Lots of pockets.

I don't care about how my backpack looks when I carry one. But if you're looking for something which looks good with work outfits (and btw I carry a backpack whenever I travel or go to work on a daily basis..), get a leather shoulder bag which carries a laptop or the likes.

We all hate being typical, but if it's popular it's probably at least decent.

Fjallraven (get the full-size not the mini, that won't fit a laptop) is pretty cool.  I also rather enjoy Herschel bags.

I don't use any tho. I'm a messenger bag guy.  I've got a Ogio from a co that doesn't exist any more as my DD.  I also have an ancient Geoffrey Beane leather thing and an AFL (Arena) branded pigskin bag from when they were a thing.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.
