hello i am gonna be a summer intern at a BB. I have heard that junior people shouldn't wear cuffs. but most shirts I see on CT's sites need to wear with cuffs. does this mean CT is not for junior people?
When you can find them on sale, Brooks Brothers dress shirts (the non-iron ones) are the best value out there; however, their "standard" shirts are designed to fit 55 year old retirees, so stick to the slim or extra slim cuts if you're under 250lbs.
Thomas Pink shirts are way too expensive. Get Charles Tyrwhitt.

Banker88What do people think about TM Lewin? Same quality and fit as Charles Tyrwhitt?
Tyrwhitt shirts are definitely better, but overall, Lewin shirts are decent, almost comparable to Brooks Brothers. They often go on sale, so I wouldn't pay more than $35 for them. Make sure to get to get a neck that is a full inch larger than your measured neck size (instead of the normal half inch) because they tend to shrink slightly in the wash. The luxury twill fabric is quite nice. However, Lewin shirts run large, and their slim-fit button-cuff shirts (the Buckingham) has a triple pleated sleeve, so it's not exactly slim (you can always get them darted though) Overall, it's a decent buy.
When one man, for whatever reason, has an opportunity to lead an extraordinary life, he has no right to keep it to himself.

CT shirts don't necessarily need cuff links (=French cuffs). "French cuff" is the default option, but if you check the page of almost any shirt you can select "Single cuff" (=no cuff links) at the same cost.
My advice: get slim fit, single cuff and NO breast pockets

Get some Charles Tyrwhitt or Thomas Pink. CT are "permantently on sale" for 4x199 and sometimes even cheaper (about 35-50).

I hate the brooks brothers non-irons... they feel like cardboard. I recommend Century 21 if you are in the city.
Thomas Pink shirts are way too expensive. Get Charles Tyrwhitt.
I also recommend Charles Tyrwhitt slim fit. Recently got 2 shirts for $60 plus $10 shipping.

whats wrong with stafford?
Van Heusen and TRUMP all the way baby!
100% cotton wrinklefrees. I recommend Eagle or Tasso-Elba (about $30-40 at Macy's). Stick with plain white, blue, or very light gray.
