Really depends on the shirt. Some will show way too much chest, others it should be fine.

Depends on the button placement. Some shirts are made to be casual and have two buttons undone. If it's a standard dress shirt then I wouldn't. You don't want to be showing more than the top third of your chest.
Two is more traps than chest.
i feel uncomfortable with anything less than 2 buttons undone
Business casual with top two buttons undone + flip flops = MBP. Half untucked by 10am.
