WHAT IS FAST FASHION? HOW DOES IT AFFECT IN COTEMPORARY FASHION?

"Fast fashion" is a phrase that has been mentioned and debated a lot in recent years. Is it really as "bad" as we think?  Or is it worth speaking up for? Today, TK will share with you all about "Fast fashion" and its shaggy groves.

 1. What is "FAST FASHION"?

True to its name, "Fast fashion" is also known as "fast fashion" but understand more carefully, it means fast-segmented fashion line - cheap. "Fast fashion" will provide buyers with the latest trends but will only pay an affordable price. Some popular "Fast fashion" brands such as Zara, H&M, Pull&Bear, Uniqlo, Topshop,...

 2. The history of "FAST FASHION".

In the 1960s and 1970s, the younger generation made waves of strong fashion impacts and preferred cheaply produced clothes to express their personal appearance. Since then, fashion companies have tried to meet the price needs of customers but there is still a marked difference between High-end and High Street fashion.

In the late 1990s and early 2000s, the phrase "Fast fashion" became known, not only that, it became a booming industry in the US, Japan, European countries,... and was enthusiastically responded by many people. "Fast fashion" gradually surpassed the leading fashion brands.

 3. The hassyness of "FAST FASHION".

Technology is changing very fast, fashion is the same but it's a lot faster. According to Masoud Golsorkhi: "When you visit Gucci or Chanel in October, you know full well that those products remain in store until February. But in Zara,H&M or other popular brands, you have to understand that if you don't buy it right away and always, within 11 days the entire product will be replaced with another one. You stand between choosing to buy it now or never buy it again. And because the price is so cheap, you will almost spend money to own them immediately."

The "fast fashion" chains are true to its hassyness, it changes dramaticly, it takes ideas from catwalks or celebrity designs and then adds a few details and "Fast fashion" takes only about 3 weeks to go from sketch to construction and then introduce the finished product to the public.

Because of the "instant" nature of "fast fashion" so the clothes you can buy in stores will quickly become obsolete, so according to the psychology of most people, we will only wear those clothes a few times and then be attracted to new trends, buy more hot clothes and then feel "obsolete", so we fall into the enclosure without a way out. At this time, you realize that you are being "Fast fashion" to take your nose and squeeze out every one of them. And the clothes you buy are used only a few times, then thrown away (due to a fad).

4. Why do so many people prefer "FAST FASHION"?

Because of its "fast- cheap" character, nowadays, many people are not financially able but they have a need for beauty (especially middle class people), they can not spend a thousand dollars ($) to buy a shirt or a pair of pants. They look to fashion stores that can meet their needs, firstly economically, then as timely, as well as for them, and the choice couldn't be better than the "Fast fashion Brands". Not only that, "Fast fashion" is also "promoted" celebrities so it is even hotter.

So, after a while, the phrase "Fast fahsion" is well known and supported. They see it as a perfect investment, both cost-effective, well-known and reasonable,...

5. Benefits of "INSTANT FASHION".

As mentioned above, "fast fashion" satisfies the beauty needs of customers but only needs to pay an affordable price so that they can "respond" almost immediately after they see the costumes appear in magazines, social networking sites or are worn by celebrities,...

 6. The wrong side of "FAST FASHION".
 a) "Fast fashion" pollutes the environment ?

Besides saving costs, trends, "fast fashion" also has its dark points. The mass production of products to run the movement means that it also has to em em discharge a significant amount of emissions and toxic substances into the environment.

Clothes are produced with a capacity of 400% compared to 20 years ago, but we wear only 30-40% of each set in the cabinets. The massive production of "Fast fashion" of clothing leads to buyers also affected by the "rush", fashion has a new trend, people pull together to respond. Therefore, the environment is increasingly threatened.

 b) The impact of "Fast Fashion" on human health and life.

At the same time, workers in textile and garment factories must work extremely hard with low wages, severely affected by the health of chemicals in clothing, not entitled to basic human rights, not preserved in health and life,...

Children are also subject to labor in fashion production. Especially difficult countries, affected by war,...
"Fast fashion isn't free. Someone, somewhere is paying ."

 7. What is the quality of "FAST FASHION"?

Because it has to follow the movement, the trend of leading fashion companies creates the material, construction, design is not strictly tested. To create a product, a High-end company must spend months, even years to choose the material, design and construction to the perfectest. But the "Fast fashion" must run fast parts of materials, construction, design to be able to cling to the hot trends are prosperous (otherwise will cool down). As a result, its quality is only 1/10th of the High-end.

8. Should "FAST FASHION" support ?

The issues surrounding "fast fashion" TK mentioned above. So in your view should "Fast fashion" be supported or not ?

If you say no because it steals the ideas of other brands, then please reconsider. Because there are many people who really can't afford to spend a large amount of money on a suit, they also need aesthetic, beauty and trends, so it is impossible to blame "fast fashion". As for the quality, it can not be blamed because with such a "cheap" price that you want the quality to be good, it is really a bit difficult. But on the environmental side, "Fast fashion" deserves error and deserves condemnation (it is too "fast" to be too dangerous).

For TK, "Fast fashion" should be supported and developed but only moderately, the "Fast fashion Brands" should limit waste to the environment, use good materials and be environmentally friendly. On our part, the customers, the "HYPEBEAST" should know to think in shopping, only buy when really need. Instead of buying hot, sought-after items, buy things you really like and can wear them for a long time.
