I don’t see how you go from barefoot and shorts to suits and ties. Somewhere in between and up to you.
Typically a dress shirt and slacks is the norm for men. Usually leave a suit jacket and tie at your desk just in case. There is no way you are wearing shorts or a tank top or going barefoot. Maybe your bank might have casual Fridays which could involve a tasteful, t-shirt/collared shirt and dark jeans.
