What Undies You Rock?

I normally wear boxer briefs, but they ride up my thighs eventually and constrict my nuts as I sit. And I have to sit there tugging at the ends through my slacks.

But boxer shorts just... don't seem right to wear with business clothes. But I still do sometimes and it feels niiiyce. I just feel too old to be wearing boxer shorts like I'm a high schooler.

What do you guys do in the undies department?

Boxer Brief -- Under Armour charged cottons. These things don't ride up, I love them.

6'' or 9''? I'm considering going 9'' to minimize ride up. Where do you buy them? UA.com is sold out.

I go with the 9" UAs myself. They don't ride up at all. I wish they would start making boxer briefs like they do with cycling and/or tri shorts. Those come with little rubber grippers on the leg opening that prevents riding up. I have participated in some 5-6 hour races and NEVER had an issue with riding up through swimming, biking, and running.

I might buy a pair of each. Those long ones are longer than some of the shorts I wear, so I need a mid-thigh option too. Which I have, but I could be happier with due to riding up.

Purchasing new underwear later based on these recommendations. The ride uppage at work followed by futile attempts to pull them back down through the pants usually doesnt work well enough. Resorted to sticking my hand within pants to pull them back down when nobody is looking.

Discussions like this are bringing down WSO. You couldn't ask a colleague, really?

You talk underwear with your coworkers? Do you also have show and tell in the bathroom

Sure but why has this been deemed a high enough quality thread to makethe front page? If I complain too much more I may get dragged kicking and screaming by Andy into running some sort of blog series. (I rarely do OPs let alone blog posts)

5 pack of 100% cotton Y Jockey Standard Boxers at JC Penney= $10. Done.

I totally get you, having same issues. I came across this new designer brand "Ken Wroy". They make different cuts, especially crafting underwear that work with tailored suits/clothing- perfect for corporates! They recently launched a shop by style section, where you can choose your underwear not only based on cuts, but also based on your personal style/needs. Give these a try. The microfiber trunks work well with suits and also good for hitting the gym after work, and stylish too.

Duh, I should've known that. forgive me

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

Lol, wow, What a bunch of useless responses. Is it really that much to ask for underwear suggestions? Surely all of us men know how annoying bunching and bad fits are.
