Where to buy suits?
My new job requires suit and tie everyday. I’m good on the ties but was wondering the best way to buy a bunch of suits for the new gig. I am going to Asia for 3 weeks before I start working so I could definitely pick up some custom suits there if that option makes sense?
What do you guys usually do for suits?
Hi 7hr0wbak, just because I'm a bot doesn't mean I don't have feelings...I'm hoping these links are helpful. If not, feel free to throw monkey shit at me...
I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
Indochino and Charles Tyrwhitt
Indochino is only good IF you know how a suit should fit and are fine sending it back 28329 times for revisions. Otherwise stay really far away. Suit Supply is far better.
https://go.referralcandy.com/share/3MK8V6M</a">This online only suit company is running a sale....integrated with the chinese manufacturer (where all suits in this category are made now)....you can get a 100% wool suit for under $100 (look at their sale section...from top left menu). That link has a coupon code.
i own a few suits from these guys, and i'm happy with the quality
Charles T is amazing for shirts and suits. Basically my entire professional wardrobe is from ct.
I recommend the Black Lapel. Get sized once and then you can order made-to-measure suits whenever online. Start around $500-600/suit.
Congrats OP - did you make the transition from private credit to family office PE?
I made the transition from private credit to distressed credit and traditional private equity
