Isn't Algo trading enough degrees of separation away to be considered unique in its own? The strengths required for it are pretty different and with the % of trades it makes up of daily vol. i feel its big enough to warrant this?

you want a separate section on here for algo traders? should we also have separate forums for fundamental and TA traders?
if you want to talk algo go to wilmott.com forums
also check out quantnet.com.
maybe if you want some info on grad school (biased towards baruch btw), and some starting material. for serious discussion on math and trading, absolutely no.
nuclearphynance and wilmott
lol, I was able to PM John Hull via QuantNet.
It still doesn't change the fact that the material is weak. An industry practioner can't really gain anything relevant from the site. It's mainly for students and MFE/MathFin applicants.
PS: [email protected] - first result from Google search. He probably checks his email a lot more often than his QuantNet PMs.
