I would be. Not many outlets to discuss economics, certainly not with general acquaintances. Could be a lot of fun, and interesting.

What would a group be good for? Nah, make a forum. There needs to be an economics as well as a corp fin forum. I don't care if those aren't perfectly wall st related, they need to happen.

 

You realize a group functions as a forum right? Its just a particular subset in which people can discuss what they want and those that are members of the group can share and add content....if you are really passionate about econ then just start a group and I would be willing to bet, if that took off, Patrick would be much more wiling to make a forum for it specifically
