Forum Post Ranking System

I've been a visitor to this site for months now, and i'm really starting to get sick of some of the stupid shit posted on this site, specifically in monkeying around and i-banking bullpen.

I understand the nature of the monkeying around forum is exactly as the name indicates, a place to just talk about random shit. But there are plenty of topics on there that are either spam or overall received in a negative fashion by the community (ie. lonesurvivor's posts). This doesn't just happen in monkeying around, but also in forum topics that exist for informational reasons, like i-banking bullpen.

Now i understand the importance of each users right to post, etc. etc. etc., but is there any way that a ranking system can be implemented that gauges the amount of MS thrown at a post, and if the number of MS thrown exceeds a certain level then that post is reviewed by the moderators and ultimately taken care of (whether its edited, deleted, ignored, etc.)

I understand this may not be an idea that is well received, but there are plenty of posts on this site that i'm sure other users wouldn't mind the ability to play a part in removing the content, in an attempt to keep things relevant and informative.

also, a delete button on posts would be tight.
