Give me ideas for the next poll topic

5/16 update - what are some ideas you guys have? Only requirements are that it has to be something finance or business related (ie not "who will you vote for president?"), and would be relevant/interesting to a large % of our visitors

Poll on creating internal 1-on-1 mentoring program. To see how many working Monkeys are willing to sign up for that to create an internal mentor matching program at Wall Street Oasis. I believe this initiative could possibly be a watershed moment for WSO, as the next step in the right direction.

Two steps poll. Only one choice permitted.

1) Are you a working Monkeys or a prospective Monkey? a) Working Monkey b) Prospective Monkey

2) Based on your first response: a) Working Monkey: have you been working in Finance Related industry for more than xyz year and would be willing to actively mentor a fellow Monkey (at school)? b) Working Monkey: have you been working in Finance Related industry for more than xyz year and would only like to contribute via WSO forum? c) Prospective Monkey: would like to receive 1-on-1 mentoring. d) Prospective Monkey: would not prefer 1-on-1 mentoring.

yeah i think that's an interesting idea if there are professional monkeys who would be up for it. maybe creating a forum thread about this would be a better way to go about it vs a poll though. step 1 is already answered to the right.

Why you, honestly, got into finance?

"After you work on Wall Street it’s a choice, would you rather work at McDonalds or on the sell-side? I would choose McDonalds over the sell-side.” - David Tepper

Few ideas. Do you currently reside in (U.S./ South America/ Europe/ Asia/ Australia/ Africa/ other). Are you (=17/ 18-21/ 22-25/ 25-29/ 30=). Are you currently (over-employed/ employed/ undermployed/ unemployed seeking work/ unemployed fuck it i give up/ current student/ actual monkey). Do you currently work at (GS/ MS/ current student/ cant find work/ insert other big financial institutions here).

Oh, and I understand the first couple aren't "finance" related but I'd imagine I'm not the only one who's curious about a nice peek into what exactly the WSO monkey composition is.

What asset class or industry will outperform this year?

Will China have a soft or hard landing?

If a country leaves the Euro, will it be within the next 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, etc.?
