Help WSO - Digg this story

Hey guys, was hoping anyone that comes across this post could help out WSO and digg this story: http://digg.com/people/Harvard_Scammed_by_23_Year…

...and/or make some comments in the Digg comment area. All you have to do is click on the link above (i think)....not sure if you even need an account on digg.

I'm a member of Third Tribe and one of the members who is a PowerDigger was kind enough to submit this story from WSO, so we are trying to see how high we can get it on Digg to help others discover WSO and increase traffic...we might try this from time to time with some of our most popular content to see if we can get close to the front page.

I THINK our servers can handle the infamous "Digg effect" --either way if we are able to get it to the front it would be a great stress test.

Thanks, Patrick

Just have some of the /b/tard's on here continuously spam links there for a week.

Still not sure if I want to spend the next 30+ years grinding away in corporate finance and the WSO dream chase or look to have enough passive income to live simply and work minimally.

Digg is coming out with a new algorithm to prevent abusers so you may see a different way of ranking very soon.

Do you know how many diggs you need to get on front page?

Hmm, they aren't accepting new DIgg accounts at this time. That sucks.

I looks like most of the stories on the front page have 100-300 Diggs. Doesn't seem like many.

Edmundo BravermanOn a related subject, is anyone using the LIKE button on WSO posts for Facebook? Just wondering how that works.

i would but i don't want my friends to realize how obsessed i am with this site

looking for that pick-me-up to power through an all-nighter?

Drew StocktonThis site is slow enough as is!

really? does anyone else feel this way?

We're spending good $s on a guy that helps us scale / optimize and we've definitely seen an improvement since he's been on board....but is this still seen as an issue like it was before?

Thanks, Patrick

The speed at work sucks, but its more than adequate when I am elsewhere, so logic would say (A) its are server/internet at work or (B) God is trying to not let me get fired by spending all my time posting while I am at work. Either way it's not the site itself.

Much improved programming. I do, however, get a black spot on the screen and my browser stops responding requiring a restart (late night only). Could be Firefox, but it doesn't happen with other sites. Same issue with Digg as some of the others.
