Is there any interest in starting up a quantitative finance forum?

I'm interested in learning more about opportunities and experiences in quantitative finance, especially ways to get in, master's programs, information on different quant funds/groups. I've seen some posts about MFE's and Master's in Quantitative Finance and quant shops so I think it'd be a good idea to collect those thoughts into one forum.

You just signed up and the first thing you do is bad mouth some website you have some agenda against?

Let people decide for themselves what website they will visit.

The same can be said about someone who joins, and 4 out of his/her 5 posts is to try and shove a website down people's throat.

I couldn't help but to notice you were out and about pushing your site everywhere (again) so I signed up to add a disclaimer so that people can choose their sites without bias.

I am sure there is some a lot of good info on that site. Not denying it. It's too bad that too much throat cramming all over the internet to promote something. That tends to leave a bad taste in my mouth.

OP asked about quantitative finance forums, why would you just "Think to search for financial engineering forum"

baraider"I thought if you just google "financial engineering forum", this will be the first on the list. Did you try?"

No need to try and be coy or subtle..

Thanks
