This is something that I don't think has ever really worked, so I figured I'd make a topic and see if anything can be done. When threads get really long (multiple pages) the new button will not take you past the first page, and therefore won't take you to where you read last. There are some great posts with 100+ posts that I like to go through, but it's really frustrating that I have to remember the exact post I was on or just skip some posts/not read some things. Is there anyway the "new" button could take you further than page 1?
edit-As Boreed just said its working in chrome, thought I would update this and say specifically that it's not working for me in Firefox, and sure about IE or any other service

:S It does for me OP. I'm using Chrome at the moment... Weird. Just went on a topic with 400 posts, 12 new ones, and it took me to the 8th page straight away, and down to the first new post.

This has never worked for me in Chrome for years now. I've pretty much given up trying at this point...
weird, i;m in chrome and when i sign in with my normal account it works (doesnt work for my admin acct)...maybe something with you being a mod messes it up. Do you have a think black menu along top of your screen?
I've got the same problem, but its with my "black bar" acct, so I'm guessing that's why. It might not just be admins, might be mods, too (I dont believe they have the black bar up top).
Also, when I've been posting lately it doesn't take me back to my post after I click Post. Have to scroll down to see it. Not a big deal for me, just a heads up
