New WSO Profile Theme

We have just released an entirely new theme for the profile pages on WSO which makes it much easier to see what that user is about, "request friendship" and sending a PM, etc. etc...

We will be adding in some additions (like making it clear who is a Certified User, Moderator, etc.) over the next few weeks, but just wanted to let you guys know.

Hope you like it, Patrick

bulge4lyfIs there a way you can separate those of us who actually have offers but aren't yet first years from the people who mostly have no idea?
Sorry guys, I actually vote against this. You really have no idea what it's like to work in banking until you get there. You know how to interview and are definitely more qualified than the sophomores, but you're still in college...

interesting idea...so a new status called "Prospective with Offer"?

To keep things simple, I think once you have an offer it is ok to put "1st year analyst" - you just won't become a Certified User until you demonstrate a lot of knowledge in the forums and send in an e-mail to verify your work e-mail account.

Anyone can put any industry and status so I think the system we have is fine - as long as we remain strict on the certification.

I agree with CaptK. The difference between Prospective w/ Offer and Prospective is marginal at best. While you may be more informed about the interview process and be able to answer questions such as "when do i get my signing bonus," you won't be in a position to answer questions about the experience until you actually start.
