New WSO Theme

As you might have noticed, we just launched a new theme for WallStreetOasis.com.

Please let me know if you have any problems / comments and/or suggestions.

I will try to be as responsive as possible to fix any problems.

Thanks, Patrick

I like the new layout Patrick. Good work, looks fantastic.

Pretty sweet, the list of forums, recent posts, etc. are actually clickable now. Great Site!

So what do you do? -I work for an investment banking firm. Oh okay; you are like my brother, he works for Edward Jones. -No, a college degree is required in my profession

Reality hits you hard, bro...

Ah, so much better.

Well done.

shnivenDefinitely loads faster in safari/firefox, and no more formatting errors. My only gripe I guess is that the site won't load at all now on the iphone browser. It loaded slow before but would eventually load all the way in ~40 seconds. Now it basically freezes the browser and fully loads in about 2 minutes 30% of the time.

hmmm, not sure why that is. I don't know how mobile access works but I will ask my web developer about it.

For users in IE7, have you noticed that the side columns are very wide? I think this is an error that can screw stuff up on certain pages if you have a small laptop monitor.

...working on resolving this issue.

Thanks, Patrick

Only complaint, can there be a new logo? One that's less cartoony. Something simple in arial or helvetica works. Most of your contributors read TheDeal, Economist, Dealbreaker, and there are no baboons or giraffes on their homepage. Someone walked by cube earlier and asked "WTF are you looking at?" I would just like to miniize those occurences while also increasing the professional aesthetics of the site.
