I just wanted to apologize to everyone today. We unfortunately had a corrupt database and had to restore to our backup (from 5am est this morning) due to us trying to fix some access controls that got screwed up.
unfortunately we have lost all the content / new users that signed up since 5am.
On a brighter note, we are getting ready for our next big upgrade to Drupal 6.0 which should improve load speed significantly and allow us to provide you some cooler features / modules.
This includes the ability to award a "silver banana" or "throw monkey shit" at any piece of content on the site. If a user posts a lot of content that gets Silver Bananas, their Quality Score will increase and they will have a net positive score (+28 silver bananas for example). If a user posts a lot of useless comments and is not helpful they will likley receive a net negative score (ie 10 monkey shits thrown at them).
I think the quality score will be a nice balance to the pure quantity measure we've had on here for so long (Banana Points).
