After many months working on the API and mobile app, I'm pleased to announce that a beta version of WSO mobile app if finally live in the Play Store (iOS is still under review and should be live any day now).
We know there are still some bugs and that we can improve the readability (among other things), but we didn't want to delay it any longer, so we opened it up to all of you so that you could give us feedback.
Version 1 includes just the very basics: 1. browsing forums / latest content 2. starting new discussions 3. commenting 4. Ability to subscribe/ get notifications to forums or certain discussions
...and that's about it
Version 2 will include: 1. search 2. more access to edit your profile and notification controls
This was a lot of work to get the app to play nice with the site, so I hope you all like it.
We welcome any and all feedback! This is the only annoucement we're making for now since I don't want a flood of users until we are able to release more iterations that I'm sure will be needed once you guys & gals point out all of the issues to us in short order :-)
