15 minute final round interview?
Have a final round coming up over the phone with the founding partner at a 500MM HF, told that the final round will only be a quick 15 minute call. Anyone know of what questions to expect? Did a 30 min technical+behavioural round prior to this with a portfolio manager. L/S fundamental equity HF.
Would I be correct in assuming its a fit question likely about why this firm or why I'm the best fit?
I've found that the senior guys / founders tend to be more fit oriented. Surprised this is a final round. I don't know any funds that would hire someone after 45 minutes of interviewing. Most of my / my friend's processes were several months and usually 4-5 "rounds".
