3bn+ under the radar funds with lean single-digit investment teams?
Asking about funds like Route One, SRS, and Abrams. Those that have a 3-5 year view and great fund economics. I know that there are a few but not usually talked about on this forum even though they are arguably some of the best seats due to high employee tenure.
abdiel fits this description. weiss is similar from a tenure perspective but the team is p big for the aum (but with the economics you’ll make plenty)

With SMs doesn’t it always come down to the PM? The chances of a PM taking care of you is higher with smaller funds that have low headcount but it’s not guaranteed. If the PM is greedy with a huge ego none of this matter.

Not quite AUM but GMV - I know quite a few pods w/ 4bn+ GMV and 10 total members.

Are they proper L/S or mostly LO? If the latter, then the economics is more like LO fund or can they still charge HF fees?
