Advice needed about obtaining an internship or analyst position at a quant fund
Hi guys,
I really need a professional advice about my career options. I currently posses a 2.1 BSc Mathematics from an average not too good university in the UK. Furthermore I also pursued a MSc Statistics degree at Warwick university, however I made some mistakes with choosing modules, meaning that I chosen some modules which I did not have enough background in and by the time I realised that it was too late. Long story short because of those modules I screwed my exams and now I can only graduate with a postgraduate diploma and low grades, but I am confident about my mathematic abilities I could definitely have done well if I chosen my modules wisely or else if I had a bit more time to prepare for the exams.
So my question is now do you guys think I will have any chance with this results to get an internship at a quant fund? Or I will have to pursue another Masters degree?
