AI / Offshoring to Eliminate Whiny Loser Hate Posting Bankers

Hahaha AI / Offshoring is going to put all the whiny loser and over entitled clowns on this forum who hate post on their employers anonymously out of a job! Thank you for your help!

CNBC reports that JPMorgan is discussing proposals to reduce its ratio of junior investment bankers to managers from 6:1 to 4:1. However, under this plan, CNBC says half the remaining junior JPMorgan bankers would be working in low-cost locations like India and Argentina. If you're in London or New York, a two-thirds reduction might therefore be correct.

The job cuts and offshoring are - predictably - the result of AI. CNBC recounts how Derek Waldron, JPMorgan's ex-McKinsey & Co. chief analytics officer, gave JPMorgan's LLM the following prompt in the presence of its journalist:

“You are a technology banker at JPMorgan Chase preparing for a meeting with the CEO and CFO of Nvidia. Prepare a five-page presentation that includes the latest news, earnings and a peer comparison.”

The model duly produced a 'credible-looking PowerPoint deck in about 30 seconds.' Waldron duly observed that this sort of thing would have, "taken teams of investment banking analysts working long hours at night....”

JPMorgan isn't the only bank with a LLM that can do the job of exhausted 23-year-olds. Most banks have something similar. Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon observed in January that an LLM can draft 95% of an IPO prospectus in minutes

Please please please keep whining and hate posting. Your leadership hears you but guess what in addition to not being great at your jobs you also are not great at reading a room and you are overpaid. All the people hate posting about pay at BAML or or miserable UBS is will be scrubbing toilets and serving fries. Guess who doesn’t hate post about pay, rough bosses, and mean staffers? AI and people thankful to have jobs. You clowns are so f’d hahahahahaha!!!!

Not if you are an owner. You don’t get to be an owner by anonymously hate posting online (I don’t understand losers who do that). Go build something vs whining - why advertise you are helpless?  You think you help your case, financially for you / your family by crying anonymously online and citing a “slave” mentality? Do you truly realize how ignorant and simple you sound?

Truth hurts!  Hahaha “please delete this post, mods need to step in”. You are a loser.

You spend hours responding to people with some mix of loser, crying, weak

Normal people read the news and move on, but you write an entire thread like your whole serotonin depends on anons acknowledging you

Peak gaslighting, while getting chatgpt to write all your entire post and comments

You insist owners don't whine online, but you've whined online about whiners online. You're just too fucking dumb to realize it

Op is probably a UBS MD also on the chopping block. True rainmakers can just pack schedules with meetings, and let these loser MDs whine themselves out of job.

You all do realize bussiness will begin to question the value of an MD, if they just present slightly polished AI slop, and will more inclined to do deals without them. Just use a good lawyer and you don’t need an MD.

Responder is likely a loser who either can’t find another job (too many side hobbies of anonymously posting online) or got fired from one of these places

We all chuckle about people like you who whine and cry online without realizing you are crying your way out of a job.

Nope. I am a beneficiary of this with my company and not in your industry. Pls keep whining away and deflecting (hint loser what someone else does at your job doesn’t impact your longer term career - you do).

Actual CNBC Article:

Not J.P. Morgan linked. Article happened to headline J.P. Morgan’s AI transition but is referring to another bank in this quote specifically.

“One proposal being discussed at a major investment bank is reducing the ratio of junior bankers to senior managers from the current 6-1 to 4-1. In the new regime, half of those junior bankers would be working from cities with cheaper labor, say Bengaluru, India, and Buenos Aires, Argentina, instead of being clustered in expensive New York.

The AI-powered junior bankers could then work on deals in shifts around the clock, passing the baton from one time zone to the next.”

And you truly missed the meta point. Do you think that results in more or less junior bankers? Do you think they continue to hire challenged losers with weak emotional shells or someone better?  I know the answer to that. Do you?

My bet is 90pct of the hate posters are unemployed / soon to be or will be in 2 years.

It’s something called nuance. You will get it some day…hopefully

Funniest

You tried so hard to break-in.  Did all the networking, scoured this forum for advice, applied it.  Hit all the resume drops, engaged all the recruiters, still silence.  Your frustration turns to venom when you can't peel yourself away from this forum.  Observing countless threads of valid frustrations from folks who are actually in this industry.  "How could these ungrateful cretins possibly complain? Don't they know they've already reached Valhalla".

Unable to move on, despite landing a highly lucrative SDR position at a .IO company, you return to this forum day after day.  On your most optimistic, you produce content such as "Is it even possible for a non-target to break in or am I completely chalked?".  Tears stream down your face as you post your latest missive, "this will rattle these entitled fucks" you think as you misrepresent a CNBC article (comprehension was never your strong suit) and imply that the club you were so unfairly denied from will cease to exist.

Despite putting on your best outfit and standing in line, you never even wanted to go.

"Rest now, Brother, we have the watch", says your chatbot

Sorry I don’t understand rambling nonsensical word vomit salads. Is rambling nonsense like this why you got fired / hate post?

Let me be very pointed:

  • Do you think kids making 200k a year minimum hating on employers in anonymous forums are good well rounded people / employees or they lack some internal ability to process career discomfort and navigate a hard life?  These people are weak losers.
  • Are you really that ignorant to believe AI won’t disrupt these whiners who have already shown an inability to navigate their job?
  • Look at big picture re the article vs nonsensical “gotcha”. Ai and outsourcing will replace people like you
  • Lastly I like my eggs over easy loser!

Sorry but as someone who has used JPMs LLM it is fucking ass, literally no analyst uses it to make decks and any decks the LLM can make have already been slotted into the library

Made me laugh when I saw that in efinancialcareers this morning
