Analyst Cliff Notes Subscription Service

Hello everyone

I have 10+ years of experience in the energy sector and joined a hedge fund in a research capacity pre-COVID. I left the fund recently and I am thinking of starting a subscription service for hedge funds where I would summarize my take on different companies/trends (Cliff Notes style) without going too much in detail but at the same time trying to cover all aspects (breadth not depth). The idea is to charge 100-200 USD/month for the subscription and to allow funds to book 1-on-1 calls with me to discuss trends/companies more in depth for like 500 USD/hours if they want.

Does that sound like a reasonable approach? Does the pricing make sense? Are there any potential compliance problems with the 1-on-1 calls?

Any feedback appreciated, thanks!
