Analysts in heavy quant positions: were you ever bad at math?
Apologies in advance if my post sounds ignorant, first post here. I am just starting to research the complexities of Hedge Funds, but I wanted to ask since HF Analyst positions are math heavy, if anyone here knows or has heard of people who were bad at math? I just want perspective because I am not the best at it.
True quants are usually pretty amazing at math
At something like a L/S you can’t be bad at math, it you can also be good if you are a great conceptual thinker
