Anyone know which hedge funds are open to hiring consultants? Interested in entering the space and looking for firms that hire consultants / any tips on how to approach sourcing opportunities?

Yes, I am more interested in investing. I am considering PE and HF, but more attracted to HF to focus more on investing in companies vs. going through in-depth due diligence process with a lot of process-oriented work / operational / active investor elements. I want to focus on identifying attractive investment opportunities and the elements of the investing.
