any useful materials/papers for develop L/S trading ideas?

I am not currently in HF and want to learn how to develop quarterly earnings L/S ideas. I know it's sector-specific and there are probably no useful books on developing L/S strategy, but just wondering if anyone has seen any materials/papers that helpful. Thanks a lot.
