At the forefront of everything they are a 'social impact/social responsibility' type investment manager.

You answered the question yourself, they do a 'concentrated long-only strategy' so they are definitely much more of a long-only fund vs. any kind of HF, but they also do other things as well - e.g. invest in non-public markets through their Climate Solutions strategy etc.

They have quite a few interesting and notable people - Al Gore, David Blood, Mark Ferguson etc.

I've heard good things about the place, so if you're interested in this type of investing, it could be the place to look in to.

I can echo what TheFamousTrader said, their public equities side of the business is focused solely on long-term investments in sustainability and Clean Energy companies.

I think they also do some VC/growth equity investing, but not positive on this or how big the practice is - just remember seeing them as investors in a few VC rounds.

I do know more recently they've launched a credit strategy to do mostly direct lending, but I believe the team is pretty small and they've just started to put capital to work.

Thank you all for the vaild points.

I also have a feeling that they are more of a mutal fund than HF. However, i checked out their portfolio, on the public investing side, they dont only invest social responsible companies, they do invest in different type of companies but ofcourse not tabacco companies etc.

I am only interested in finding out about their public market global fund. Good investors? good place to work? I think their research process is very much like long term mutual fund/HF (not index tracking funds ofcourse) ? exit opions should one wish to go to other places etc? thanks
