Interning at a multi-manager l/s equity program this summer, and really want the return offer. At the same time I want to hedge my bets in case I don't get it, so I want to apply to other FT roles (at other MMs and also some other HFs). Would doing so jeopardize my return offer if word somehow gets around?

well i’m in uk/eu where recruiting happens mainly in autumn/winter and i’m more on the quant/macro side not l/s

If it gets around, yes. Same as if you were interning at a bank and they found out you were spending your time interviewing instead of working.
I've done it successfully so its possible, but the timing can be tricky
