Anyone have insight into this fund? Founded by former Citadel vet.
They've been around since late 2018, but still doesn't seem to be running money.
Any tips on their performance or if they are active in the markets would be great.
The only folks I know there are quants that my firm turned down so I don't have a great impression of the place. That said, the founder is legit and will probably be able to hire better staff once they raise more capital. Your post suggests that they are having trouble doing that but allocation from high quality sources can take time.
Fair enough. Recruiters been reaching out and wanted some visibility on where they are at with building out. Linkedin looks like a couple of their senior hires had a left so wasn't sure if they were deploying capital or not. Think they were already staked from the beginning by Paloma and pt72.
They’ve been running several 100m for a few months now
I saw they had registered a fund of ~350mm. But no 13F filings.
Do you know what frequency are they mostly looking at?
