Bro just drink tons of water, exercise a ton and hopefully you have low body fat content. I was in your shoes and flushed my system in less than a week because I was only given 7 days notice that I needed to test at all. 90 days is what’s online but it’s different for everyone. Gradually cut down then stop for a month and you’ll be 100% fine

Hi all,

I will quit if necessary but I'm trying to determine the necessity of that at the moment.

To be a functioning adult, not smoking every day is a necessity. I would take this opportunity as a personal challenge to ease up on the devil's cabbage even if you go back to smoking on the weekends.

My understanding is that pre-employment drug screens in NYC cannot test for THC anymore, so you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

That said, my approach as a daily user when interviewing in the past:

1) Buy a box or two of home THC tests.

2) Quit at least a month before when you expect to be tested, drink a ton of water, and test yourself periodically at home. It'll be useful to know how long it takes to test clean for the future (~3 weeks for me).

3) Reschedule drug tests with an excuse (out of country, schedule conflict, etc.) if you're still testing positive. You may want to order "Quick Fix" as a backup plan too.

I personally think you can still be a functional adult even if you're a daily user. I know many people at my fund who would definitely fail if randomly tested, but it's not something you worry about once you're hired full-time.

Certo. Have taken four drug tests in my life and Certo has never failed me. Look up guides online

Anecdotally, a coworker starting at another MM HF in July 2021 refused to take a thc test given the new law and HR caved.
