Background check issues

Hey guys,

I am the Chief Investment Officer at a macro driven hedge fund and am currently facing some publicity issues. I used to work at a top hedge fund (Ackman/Loeb/Einhorn) with several billion AUM. There has been some controversy surrounding the legitimacy of my title. I was Head of Macro and have this documented on several emails and brochures, but the team deny this. This is getting quite frustrating and I am not sure what to do. Any advice? I refuse to compromise my integrity in this instance.

Sorry I can't be more help but I'm facing a similar issue. The CIO of my former fund referred to me as a "gaywad invalid" during email communications with GLG. I used that designation to get invited to some girls' sleepover, but they weren't happy to find out I might not be gay. I'm also suing the Social Security Administration for denying my disability claim, despite clearly being called an invalid in official communication. Anyone have any tips?
