BB IG Credit Research Exit Ops
How do exit ops look for someone in IG credit research? (Goldman JPM MS etc). Do credit funds only take from IB/Deal teams where research goes to AM or could research go to a HF
Uhhh it’s a mixed bag - but I would say I have senior junior ig publishing analysts going to big asset managers and hedge funds - I would say it’s a bit harder for an ig person to go to a distressed fund or private credit fund - but I know a few kids from ig publishing seats that have ended up at Credit trading teams at multi managers and and more performing credit hedge funds
