Best Books on Capital Structure
Hi Guys, I am trying to find some solid books on how to analyze capital structure for credit purposes. Other than Fabozzi does anyone know good reads?

Interested as well. Have been looking at CFA material but would love an alternative source.
Try Tim Kotler (Valuation). Also, Baker/Kiymaz (Art of Restructuring) and DePamphilis (M&A and Restructuring) are very good IMO.
Thanks illuminati. Will check them out

Hi,
not sure which forum this post is best suited for...
but as the title suggests, I am looking for books which give a good description of how to analyse and look at capital structures of companies, and potentially how trades are based on the back of that.
I have a decent working knowledge of cap structures, but want to improve my knowledge as my current project is largely cap structure focussed.
Thanks.
Have you read Rosenbaum & Pearl's book? If not, start with that.
You could also read Financing Growth by Wiley:

Capital structure is more complex than people give it credit for. You learn the most by working in the field, not from some textbook. But, start with those. You'll at least get the building blocks.
Does this touch on LBO financing?
