The best pod is the one where the PM actually cares about your career development, knows your coverage well, and has made money historically consistently (and is willing to disclose this to you) in that area. That is not actually going to have high correlation with the HC pods generally perceived as great

Very old school guy, runs super hierarchical structure with a football team of analysts. No one gets to see positions or PnL apart from him. Think there are better guys in Europe, especially when it comes to working for them as an analyst and learning.
