I'm an IBD off-cycle analyst (aka intern) in a MM international bank, that wanted to try the HFs industry.
Because I actually just know 2 or 3 HFs in Spain (and they don't hire shit), would love to know if you come about any good name/HF that I could research.
Would love to know if there are good brand names out there that I didn't know about.

Haven't seen any HFs in Spain. A couple big long-onlys (Alantra, Cobas), and family offices. Iberian public markets are tough.

Look at Quadriga Asset Managers - Rho Investments perhaps.
Belgravia capital and Alantra EQMC. There are some decent L.O funds with a clear deep value bias such as AZ Valor, Cobas and Magallanes. Bestinver, despite being a L.O, has a L/S fund.
