Best research on AI + Software

Random question, but does anyone have any favorite sell side / analysts when it comes to thoughtful pieces on AI and the application layer, or more broadly software side?

There are a billion reports out there already, and yes its obvious enough stuff, but I haven't found anything so far that I felt like was really compelling or thoughtful, or frames the opportunities well. Probably a classic case of know your coverage know the impact, but as a generalist trying to ramp here curious to know if you all have favorites here!

Yea I haven't seen anyone do a good job at framing things here or what the opportunity is. Its fairly vague stuff and I get its early still and a lot is going on, but was hoping to see if anyone had any favorites. RBC had some ok stuff and truist surprisingly. Would've liked to see deeper thought stuff from JPM and MS. JPM does have the "investable AI stuff". William Blair decent also

Is your point, there has been so so much written about it already from everyone, or there is so much unknown so its useless? Or is it the "sell side knows nothing they are monkeys for management guidance!"

Genuinely wasn't rhetorical - you see A LOT written here... and I get it if you are tied to like 30 names you know everything about AI for those names already. But for someone taking a step back and coming from a generalist approach, and working on understanding how things evolve as we move into the application layer, it helps to set up context on the various prevailing views here.

Yes I have my own framework on developing views and doing primary research, but was just curious if people had any favorites on who is doing thoughtful work or framing/quantifying opportunities.

Happy to accept your disapproval on the question though

Keith Weiss, as the poster mentioned below, probably had some of the most interesting work I've seen so far, aggregating progress across adoption and what implementation starts looking like, and the Kash Ragan/GS team had an interesting piece in January.

Quantifying what happens at the software platform layer and eventually SaaS / application layer is what I was getting at.
