Bloomberg Access / IT at the job

I recently interviewed at a sizable long short fundamental SM shop (450mm) and noticed all the investment professionals had their own computers typing notes during my interview. But I think they also had full desktops / Bloomberg at their desks. What is standard at long short fundamental hedge funds these days? Does everyone have their own Bloomberg? Do hedge funds ask employees to bring their own laptops? I imagine mm shops give all of their junior guys there own Bloombergs as well rather than using factset? Dumb question but just wondering as I am coming from banking.
