Wondering what pricing sources do you use for high-level RV / comps analysis? I think BVAL should be the more creditable and commonly used pricing source for illiquid credit, rather than BMRK, CBBT or BGN?
I know for precise actionable prices need to always check with the sales.
For a quick and dirty I use BVAL bid prices
Yeah if you’re in a pinch you can use bval, but it really comes down to a valuation and rel Val based on perceived credit risk around a lot of those names
