Hi, I just read that former Barclays CEO Bob Diamond is believed to launch an own hedge fund based in New York.
Do you think that's true or just rumors? and if so, what kind of hedge fund would he probably set up? I know little about him before he became head of investment banking and later CEO of Barclays. Was he a trader formerly? and if so, which asset class?

he did spend a year lecturing. saw that on his barclays bio when he was still in charge.
simply suck up that you were wrong. one year in college? how ridiculous. finance is becoming more and more complex, so i guess in future even more university training (especially in math and stat) will be necessary
