Boutique Fund Trader's Assistant to operations at Point72 or risk management at millennium management

Hi everybody, just wondering if i can get some career advice or just helpful comments on the topic here. Currently I'm around 1 year into the current trading assistant role at a small fund. Looking to slowly grow into a trading role from just doing basic executions within the next 2 years then hopefully can manage a small book after that.

Recent got a recruiter asking if interested in an ops role at Point72... very tempted to move to the big shop, to get one foot into the door at least.. but i know the cost would be to move away from trading...same with a risk job from MM...

Just wondering what your thoughts are?
