Bridgewater - Call after final round
I've recently done a final round with Bridgewater for an associate position. They set up a call asking to talk. Should I expect to be rejected? I've never heard of a firm setting up a call after the final round.
Bridgewater is very weird and you'll probably get used to the phrase "I've never heard of a firm..." while you're there. That being said, unless you've already hammered out the details and logistics of an offer, thats probably what this is. As nuts as they are, its not an easy place to get into. Congrats.
No they also call kids to reject them and say they should reapply FT. It seems very nice and personable until you realize they say the same thing to everyone.
How long was your final round?how many interviews did you have?
If you had more than 2 then maybe it's good news. Else, you're getting rejected.
If you are rejected, make sure to ask for feedback.

Due to the pandemic, the interview process was different than what it used to be. The process was in line with what the HR person told me. There were 4 interview rounds (including the screening which took an hour).
