Small UK defence radio deal has cash up front plus earnouts, how would you read the timing?
chemring is buying Landguard Nexus, a software defined radio company in Fareham, for up to £20m. £14m cash on completion plus earnouts of up to £6m. it gets folded into their Roke business. I'm not a trader and don't own anything here. I'm just curious how people who do event stuff think about a deal like this. does the earnout part change how you'd look at the announcement, or is it too small to matter? I honestly don't know what the right question is.
